And yet again, Andy is the last one laughing!

So this funny thing happened... and before I get into too much detail about this story, please understand I love all of the special people in the world. I would never be one to sincerely make fun of them. They all have such sweet spirits and are great people and always make great friends, for example, Ian Harr, I love that kid! Anyways, with that being said, take this story how you want, but please with NO OFFENSE! So I received a text message from my brother-in-law Jake that said, "In 2009 the US Government will start shipping retards away. I started crying when I thought of you. Be strong, wear your helmet, and run fast lil buddy!" I got this and laughed and instantly replied with something like "I'm glad you were thinking of your friends who sat on the short bus with you when you got this message, but too bad I was just the bus driver, but thanks anyways for the memo." This text soon became the joke of the family and I wanted to send this message to the ultimate jokester of the fam, the one, the only, Andy Bush. So that I did. Later that night Andy called me and left me a voicemail. He left me a super long message that said, "Hey that message you sent me could not have come at a more worse time. I just got done helping my last patient for the night. This patient was a seventeen year old boy who has the body of about an eight year old, and the mind of a ten year old. The sad thing about this kid is he understands he is handicapped, but knows there's nothing he can do to be "normal." He was sitting at his high school orientation with all the other kids who attend his school when he had a grand-mal seizure. (I don't know what a grand-mal seizure is, but that's what Andy called it.)He was rushed to the hospital, I was able to get his body back under control, and when I walked out of his room, the first thing I did was look at my phone because it had buzzed earlier, and read your message. Sorry Lars, but I just don't think your message is very funny... Click, and that's the end of the voicemail."
Oh my heck, did I feel horrible?! First of all, that story made me SOO sad, and second of all, this whole thing was just a joke. Anyone who knows Andy, knows EVERYTHING is a joke to him!! He's always trying to be funny. I tried calling him back and he didn't answer. I left several texts that night and I got no response. Caleb and I were so surprised. We were totally thinking, wow, Andy really has changed. What did medical school do to him?! Even with the given scenario, we thought he would still laugh! Anyways, the next day comes and still no response from Andy! Another day goes by and Andy finally calls and leaves me another message... he said his whole story was a JOKE! Yes, Andy made that whole story up. Are you kidding me?! I had been feeling like the most horrible person ever for the last 48 hours! Turns out Andy's last patient was some crazy guy, but he wasn't special, he was just drunk. And yet again, Andy is the last one laughing... He thinks he's so funny, but I sure don't! ;)
Here's the latest picture of Andy! Oh how precious... P.S. That is a smoking pipe in his mouth, but I'm sure you already knew that due to my lovely artist skills.

La La, I'm pretty sure, the story about the boy at school and the seizure is true, but maybe it wasn't his last patient, or maybe the jokes on me to. Anyway, love the story and your art work, I didn't know it was a pipe. Love you.-Shay
