Two posts in one day! I was going through all of the pictures on Mom's computer and came across the pictures she took of me in my dress. So before Caleb and I got married, I wanted Brooke to practice doing my hair. I came home one Saturday and Brooke did my hair. I was so excited that I put on my dress. Mom was then even more excited so she got out her camera. Then Shay was the most excited so she suggested we all go down to temple square and take pictures. And that we did! There are a few things I remember about that day... One, it was SOOO cold outside thus we did all the pictures inside the JSMB, which I just don't dig the green and blue carpets with the gold trim. Not my style, but still fun pictures. Two, it was the general young women conference that day thus there were thousand's of girls on Temple Square and I got so many compliments on my dress. Three, I was able to wear my dress just one extra day which makes a total of 3 times! (Once on this day, once on our pre-shoot/bridals day, and of course on our wedding day.) 4, I was on cloud nine and still am. P.S. All of the pictures that are on my blog from my wedding are pictures my mom took. Yes she is AMAZING with photos and definitely knows how to work a camera. But I am so excited to finally receive my professional album and pictures. I know, it's been five months, Caleb and I are good at procrastinating, and we also told the camera man to take extra time and don't rush because we want our pictures to be Perfect! And he is definitely taking his sweet little time. So, more wedding pictures will hopefully follow.

Fall Break
This week is Fall break and Caleb and I did not have school today and do not have school tomorrow! We came home to my parents house last night to spend some time with them. Last night just happened to be the Viewmont/Layton football game at Viewmont. Dad always goes so he invited us to go along. Caleb was of course cheering on his own Layton High and I was cheering for Viewmont, and Viewmont won 9 to 0! No surprise. We also sat by Coach Thompson because he and Dad get a long really well. It's crazy when those two are together they will talk about nothing but fishing for a whole two hours. But Coach Thompson did say he would help me get a job next year. I love it! So far Mr. Tennis, my H.S. principal, also Caleb's bishop growing up, Dr. Homer, the Davis principal, and now Coach Thompson will all help me get a job. Hopefully this will work out and I can teach at either Viewmont or Davis! It's so ironic that I am so excited to be done with college only to go back to High School. Crazy. But I am definitely excited to have a job with a steady salary, even though it won't be a lot, and good benefits.
So the plan for today was to hang out this morning and then head back to Provo for work. However, my mom being the way she is told us we both looked a little "sick" this morning and needed a break from work. Ha! And just a little side note, my mom was also the kind of mom who would come to school and check me out just to go shopping because SHE was bored. In fact, sometimes she would come to school and get me and I wouldn't leave with her because I was the type of girl who hated to miss school because I hated having to make up my work. My teachers were always a little confused when I would be called to the office to leave and then would return back to class and not leave! But my mom does know how to talk me into not going to work. And yes, her strategy worked for Caleb too! So we both stayed in C-ville and had a way fun day. It was so nice to finally spend a whole day with my mom and not have so much stuff going on. Lately things have been so busy I feel like when I come home I don't even see my mom. And she didn't have to teach early morning seminary today so she wasn't even tired! We went to IHOP for breakfast per Gradma's request. My mom and I then went shopping and I finally found some cute clothes that Caleb actually likes. It's soooo hard to find good looking clothes for a 6'6" guy. Caleb usually does not like any of the tall clothes I pick out for him, but today I scored. My mom then needed a new camera because her old one broke. So we went and got her a new camera and had fun taking pictures today. Here are a few. And yes, it was so nice to have a full day break from both school and work. Love ya mom!
Here are a few pictures with the new camera!
Sammie sure does love Max

And we sure do love Sammie!

And this picture is not from today, Mom took this at the cabin last week and I LOVE Emry's hat and thought this picture was so cute of her.

Caleb always tries to be tough in pictures while I just try to look cute. Oh well. I guess that's why we "balance" each other out.

Happy Fall Break to us! Life is great!

Long, overdue, much needed update!
So good news, yes, Caleb and I are still alive! Life is so crazy right now, and school is so busy, there are days where I am so glad I just make it through the day alive. And I can't believe it has been an ENTIRE month since my last post! Wow. Things are going by so fast, but that is good. The sooner this semester is over, the better. I definitely think this has been my busiest semester ever, yes even more busy than the semester I was engaged and planning my wedding. (Maybe that's because I have the greatest mom and sisters in the world who know how to get things done.) But the best thing about this semester is knowing that at the end of everyday, I get to come home and be with my BEST FRIEND! Caleb is the BEST husband to me, and I am the luckiest! Time is going by so fast, and like I said, so much has happened. So just a few much needed updates...
First, D had her baby!!! And he is PERFECT. Cameron J is his name and he is beautiful. Last weekend Jake went hunting and D was home alone. Caleb and I thought it would be a good weekend to get away because it was the one weekend where we wouldn't have to find substitutes for our Sunbeam class due to conference. Thus we went and stayed the weekend at D's house! It was so much fun and I think the only time I wasn't holding Cameron was when he was eating or when he needed his diaper changed. The girls also all went out during the Priesthood session for the famous, annual girls night out. We did something different this time, and instead of going to Deseret Book, we went to Tai Pan Trading! Great idea D, and thanks to mom for the fun Christmas decorations. There were just three things missing, Shay, Miss CarCar, and Tessa. :(
Next Happy Birthday to... EVERYONE! Seriously, so many birthdays have happened lately it's crazy, but fun. First, Happy Birthday to Danielle back on September 26th. I've been so involved with her new baby, I kind of forgot about her birthday. But I do love her so much and am grateful for our friendship! I was always her little shadow growing up and she still is the person I can turn to for anything. D brings fun and enthusiasm to this thing we call life. She is a great sister to me. I love how her and I can just look at each other, and not have to say a word, but know what each other is thinking. I guess you could say we're pretty much professionals at having "silent conversations." Happy 24 D!
Next, happy birthday to Carlee! I call Carlee my little "firecracker" niece. She really is such a bright, fun, exciting bundle of joy. She is so smart, it's hard to believe she just turned three. Everyone misses Carlee so much and I will never forget the year Carlee was known as Kaylee's piece of "velcro" in the Deuel Creek ward. Nor will I ever forget her cute southern girl accent. And just as a side note, Carlee has never lived in the South but you would think so by the way she talks. I love it! Happy 3 Carlee!
And happy birthday to Andy Bush! Andy turned 30 and I think he actually graduated from diapers this year. Ha :) Just kidding, more like med school. Wow, Andy is Mr. AMAZING. He is a great husband, dad, uncle, friend, brother, doctor, and the list goes on forever. Andy and I were always very close growing up, despite our nine year age difference. He was my pal. I have many good memories of 7-11 slurpee runs, late night nachos, skyline drives, wrestling meets, Hobbitville and more. When Andy left on his mission I had a really hard time with it. He gave me a pair of his wool hunting socks and I slept with them everynight for the whole two years. I get homesick for him now and feel like sometimes a pair of his hunting socks would be nice! Happy 30 ABC!
Happy birthday to Abigail! Wow Abbie is getting so big! She started kindergarten this year and rumor has it, she is the smartest one in her class! No surprise. Abbie has such a sweet spirit. Anytime Abbie runs through the door she goes up to everyone in the room and gives them a huge hug and kiss. She is such a light in everyone's life around her, especially mine! Happy 6 Abbie!
And last, but not least, Happy Birthday to Luke! Lukers is so funny! He has such a fun personality. I love to hear Luke talk, and I especially love to see his ear to ear grin that is ALWAYS on his face, even when he is crying! Luke is so cute, and I've never known anyone to be as picture perfect as he is. Happy 4 Luke!
And finally, HELLO to all of the Coil cousin bloggers. I am excited we found all of you and it will be so good to see what's going on in the life of the Coils.
